In accordance with the decision made on the 11th of August 2020 by Interdepartmental Commission for prevention of emergence and spread of coronavirus infection in the Republic of Kazakhstan, taking into account the recommendations of the Ministry of Healthcare, the level of epidemiological situation according to the World Health Organization, the international flights to The United Arab Emirates, Belarus, Germany, the Netherlands, Egypt, Ukraine and the Russian Federation will be gradually resumed as of 17 August 2020.
The Ministry, in conjunction with the aviation authorities of the above-mentioned countries, has previously worked out the issue of resuming regular passenger flights. Thus, these countries support the resumption of flights with Kazakhstan in compliance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements (thermometry, social distancing, mask regime, PCR testing, etc.).
At the same time, it should be noted that flights to Russia require authorization from the Russian side.
The number of flights on international routes will be based on existing intergovernmental agreements on air traffic and subject payload range on each route.
Operation of flights and sale of tickets will be carried out in accordance with the schedule published on the airlines’ websites as restrictions on the movement of citizens across state borders with the above-mentioned countries are lifted and the epidemiological situation improves under the conditions of increased sanitary security measures established by Kazakhstan and the relevant countries.
